Returns
You have 30 days to return the product in its original condition, including tags, at no cost. Please email orders@waltersky.com with your order number for a return label. And please note warehouse hours above.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange something from your order you will need to return that particular item and then place a new order for the new item. Once the original item is received you will be credited back that amount.
Designer Notes
For the WS-MT01, I took the more conservative neckline and longer sleeves of the WS-T02 and paired it with the body and side saddle of the original WS-T01. The fit and style of this tee, combined with the comfort and performance capabilities of Nuyarn, have proven to be a stellar combination.
p>I’ve always been a fan of merino wool. It’s naturally antimicrobial, has beautiful texture, amazing performance properties, etc. But even with all the positives, I couldn't overcome the negatives. The merino wool products I had tried in the past were too delicate, and I’m talking just for daily use around town. Another negative aspect was the outcome of the garment if it managed to find its way into the drier. What went in as a t-shirt would end up as an expensive bandana.
Luckily I was introduced to Nuyarn and their patented yarn spinning technology which results in a stronger higher performing merino wool. Nuyarn steams their fabric before the cutting process which helps reduce shrinkage, and I also added a bit of length to help compensate for accidental trips to the drier. Average shrinkage for the shirt during product testing was about 2.5cm in length.
To test out the antimicrobial properties, I wore the shirt for about a week before giving it to my friend Jeff, unwashed (unbeknownst to him). Jeff was about to leave on a roadtrip where he plays with sticks and prances around the ice. I told him to wear the shirt as much as he could, stuff it in his hockey bag, work out in it, etc. The only thing he couldn't do was wash the shirt. When I got the shirt back a week later it smelled like Jeff Carter, which means it smelled even better than when I gave it to him. Is that weird? It’s true ladies and gentlemen, Jeff smells as good as he looks. I doubt Jeff will ever read this so I’ll leave that there.
