Exchanges
If you would like to exchange something from your order you will need to return that particular item and then place a new order for the new item. Once the original item is received you will be credited back that amount.
Designer Notes
The idea for this pant came from spending countless hours hiking through Joshua Tree and Southern Utah. We wanted a pant that would provide protection from the sun, protect the legs when walking through thick brush, would dry quickly after getting wet, was comfortable, stylish, functional and most importantly breathable. We were able to check all of those boxes with the design and fabric. Although we refer to them as a jogger, they don’t have the traditional elastic cuff at the leg opening of the pant. We felt that by removing the elastic cuff it made the pant more versatile. The pant is a bit longer and has a narrow leg opening so by cuffing the pant you can create the desired jogger effect.
The fabric, developed by Toray, was created for Japan’s Summer Olympic team in an attempt to help them manage heat stress. When you hold it up to the light you can see the fabric is perforated but when it lays flat against the skin the microdots are no longer visible. These microdots provide constant ventilation and also give the pants a unique texture due to the weave of the fabric.
The pants have held up well and performed as described above. They survived a hike up to Lone Peak in the Wasatch Mountains, using only game trails, which the majority of the time included bushwacking. They survived a few slot canyons in Southern Utah and even held up against the rough rock at Alabama Hills in the Eastern Sierras. The rock at Alabama Hills was definitely the roughest test. Hard rubbing against the rock didn’t wear all the way through but it did leave visible abrasion marks on the fabric.
